Pair of Faience Lavabos from France
This is a pair of French lavabos with pewter spouts is from the mid 20th C. . There are minor restored rubs to both and a short hairline crack to one basin. With its base color of yellow, the patterned ground features sprays of wild flowers in pale blues, oranges and whites with pale green foliage. The removable top has a dolphin for the handle, which is repeated at the opening for the pewter spout.
Rare to find a pair, these wonderful French lavabos will be an attractive addition to any room.
