Good antique condition commensurate with age – minor chips to wood and paint- Circa 1850
This regal antique French church candlestick has been turned into a floor lamp at some point in its history. A hole has been drilled through the piece and a fitting placed at the top center for running wires through. The highly carved ornamentation is of stylized floral and leaf decoration, lunettes, spiral shapes, and gadrooned lobed décor. The tall candle sleeve gives it the perfect height for a floor lamp.
