This spectacular English longcase regulator clock was crafted by Charles Frodsham & Co., royal clock makers to Queen Victoria. Impressive in its construction, this exceptional timepiece keeps accurate time thanks to three counterbalances and a pendulum, which can be viewed, along with the clock’s nine tubes, through a large glass front window. The clock tells time on an intricately engraved silvered dial, which also features a seconds dial and chime indicators. An eight-day chiming movement features traditional Westminster and Whittington chimes along with a St. Michael chime, which, like the hour strike, can be switched off.
