The absolute highest quality ormolu and the finest English crystal distinguish this extraordinary pair of Regency three-light candelabra. In terms of caliber and workmanship of the ormolu and crystal, both hand-wrought with the highest level of precision and artistry, it would be extremely difficult to find candelabra of higher distinction. Attributed to esteemed glassmaker John Blades, each brilliant light is comprised of a central column of intricately cut glass from which extend scrolled ormolu branches with crystal cups and bobèches. Decorated with an elegant cross hatch and vesica pattern, both the cups and bobèches are hung with faceted droplets and rare ribbed needles. It is extremely rare to find such high quality English ormolu paired cut glass, especially glass that pre-dates French Baccarat crystal.
