An Antique French Wedding Tabletop Trunk of European Oak with Hand Carved Trophy Ornamentation and an Interior Mirror.
Condition: Very Good–Minor age crack to Lid; No Key; Late 1800s

This intricately hand carved antique French wedding tabletop trunk would have been given to the Bride and Groom as a wedding gift from one set of parents. Papers of value and jewelry would have been stored in this. The story about wedding pieces says, the more hand carving there was, the wealthier the gifting parents were.
