Louis XV Style Console-Late 1800s

This is a painted Louis XV/Regence style console from France. It is very unique in that it only measures 15 inches wide. We are not sure of the wood under the paint, but it has an ebony like color to it. Carvings include trailing rosettes and daisies, with acanthus leaves above the foot.
