Black Chinoiserie Breakfront Bookcase

A magnificent early 20th century black lacquered Chinoiserie hand painted Breakfront bookcase-china cabinet in triple-section broken-front form. The center section has double doors flanked by single doors on each side. Each door of the top section has a locking mechanism, with glass panes in each door, and a lighted interior with adjustable glass shelves. The bottom section mimics the top with blind inset panels. This piece is superbly constructed and beautifully done. Large Chinoiserie pieces are rare and make a stunning bold statement.
