This wonderful antique French metal and cast iron wine room door has an upper cast iron panel with c and s-scrolls, grape clusters, stylized rocaille shells, griffin heads, and acanthus leaves all atop a group of stemmed roses. On the other side of this panel are hinges and a latch for a framed glass window which would swing open without having to open the door. Beneath the panel, there are two more open field framed panels of different sizes. Rosettes are interspersed around the door frame frontage.
