This set of andirons and fireplace tools feature hand wrought and rubbed iron in graduated thicknesses, emphasizing the various motifs.  The fleur-de-lys’ petals are slightly curved with the point of the center petal hammered to a peak.  The rods of the tools are rounded, twisted, and rectangular with hooked prongs and shovel.  Their stand has the same hand wrought décor on tripod legs and thick scrolled feet.  The thick hand hammered andirons carry similar motifs.
