This is a French bronze 8-Arm chandelier in the Regence Style – Excellent Condition – 20th Century

This magnificent 8-arm French bronze chandelier in the Regence Style has all the ornamentation of that period. Motifs of children’s faces and sphinges surround a classical urn on a circular pedestal. Scrolling acanthus leaves, palmettes, bellflowers and grape clusters are seen throughout the chandelier. The thick double linked bronze chain extends from a canopy decorated with a cartouche framed by acanthus leaves. This French bronze chandelier would be an asset to any home.
