Federal New Hampshire Hepplewhite Mahogany Bowfront Chest Of Drawers

This bowfront chest of drawers can light up a room with its dramatic flame birch veneered drawer fronts contrasted with its mahogany case. Note how the birch veneers are book matched to heighten their effect. The chest is in the Hepplewhite style with out-flaring French feet of a type associated with New Hampshire manufacture in the period around 1800. In excellent original structural condition; minor imperfections in the veneers, replaced brasses.
