American pine one drawer stand

A pine one drawer stand with a squared top above a drawer raised on square tapering legs. New England, circa 1810. 29 inches high, Top 15 3/4 by 18 1/4.

Tables of the sort were found literally in every home in America. Used as an accent piece in a hall or landing or as an end table or bedside piece they have always been a mainstay in the trade.

Excellent condition with a soft lustre. No repairs.
