No. RD12994
Superb rare English Sheraton mahogany dressing table (tiny sideboard) of serpentine form with a conforming top. It has one long drawer over two lower drawers separated by an arch The turned and fluted legs are stop fluted in two places with alternating light/dark inlay. The piece features wonderful “flame” mahogany and is excellent condition.
Note how bold the serpentine front is.
Restoration: The top was warped because of opposing grain and previous owner glued two boards under the top to straighten it.
From a private collector in Manhattan.
It began with a dream. After selling their Pepsi-Cola bottling plant in Montana in 1968, then working for two years in the Peace Corps in Ghana, Robert and Rebecca Jorgensen were searching for a new life venture.Family connections…
