European School Oil Painting

19th Century European School oil on canvas painting, trimmed in a unique oval giltwood frame that is original to the canvas. This painting depicts a landscape with a house, signed on lower left "G. Postelle" (Germain Postelle). Postelle uses warm complementing colors that make the canvas come alive. In fantastic condition, this painting has only become better with age. Circa 1870, overall measuring 38W x 33H.
