A Mahogany Carved Chippendale Mirror with Gilt Urn, c.1780

This mirror is in fine condition throughout and retains its early, if not first, mirror. Generally, these mirrors have solid splats, however, this one is further embellished with a whimsically carved urn with floral spray. The shaping of the mirror is precise and classic: finely executed.
