Unusual hepplewhite carved cherrywood high chest, with five graduated thumb molded drawers flanked by free standing reeded quarter columns, set on a base with shaped apron and flaring french feet. Probably Connecticut, circa 1785-90. Retains an old crusty, repolished finish.
