Very fine and rare matched pair of classical carved and gilded architectural mirrors, having leaf decorated cornice moldings above split panel wooden upper sections with horizontal columnar detail, flanked by elliptical half round columns with foliate gesso decoration and foliate mirror borders. Possibly Portsmouth, circa 1820-25.
