Very fine set of ten George III style carved mahogany dining chairs, comprising eight side and two arm chairs, with molded serpentine crests centering medallion carvings of rice leaves and grains, with vertical pierced splat with husk, leaf and rosette carvings with lotus leaf and beadwork strap carving, above molded slip seat frames supported on square tapering front legs with block feet, and raking rear legs, connected with "H" stretchers. England, circa 1880. Rich original color.
