A Carved Hepplewhite Figured Mahogany Inlaid Six-Legged Card Table, England, c.1800

Fine inlays, six carved pateras (one over each leg), and highly figured mahogany in a restrained Hepplewhite form define this rare and most elegant card table. Impeccable condition throughout. This is a superb example of English craftsmanship and quality. It is remarkable that it has remained in perfect condition. Obviously, it was well cared for through the years as something special. We have cleaned and French polished all surfaces, which is the way it would have appeared in 1800.
