A Cherry Federal Candlestand, probably CT, c.1800

This candlestand has very distinctively shaped delicate feet supporting a carefully turned column with vase and ring turnings. The top, of solid cherry, has canted corners. While the top has been French polished, the base has its original old surface. There are no breaks or alterations.

Height: 26 1/4 in. Width: 18 1/2 in. Depth: 18 3/4 in.
