A marble sundial with incised Roman numerals in the top, replaced bronze gnomon and four bronze directionals, the baluster carved in relief with scenes of Apollo above which is carved "Horas Non Numero Nisi Serenas" [trans. Number None But Shining Hours]. English, ca. 1890. 39 ins. high, 26 ins. wide.
