Late 19th Century French, Louis XV Style Armoire of European Oak with Wire and Material on the Front Panels–Age separations to back and side panel; Hole made on back panel for electrical wiring to go through

This charming armoire is diminutive in its size.  It has open wire front panels upholstered with material on the inside.  The ornamentation has all been carved out of the wood, not applied.  The motifs are a central basket with flowers and leaves flanked by trailing vines on patterned grounds with incised decoration, gadrooned stiff leaves, elongated c scrolls, and a stylized shell.  The interior has been painted at some point in its history.
