This model is folk art and one off. It was not produced with any market in mind. It was produced as someone's interpretation of the Taj mahal. It is somewhat naive in build but retains a highly detailed study of the building. I believe it to be English as well as a number of dealers that have examined it. It fits in the tradition of the small building models that you find in England. The surface is unmolested, crackled dry paint. There may be some other shots on my site. Thank you.
